首先對于保溫材料的選擇，要選擇保溫性能好的，保溫材料的規格應符合風管系統所使用的，還應當符合風管的設計要求，使用的保溫材料要有合格證等質量合格證件，以保證使用時能有效的保護風管，使其在冬天使用時不易損壞。潔凈風管一般選擇難燃閉孔橡塑海綿保溫材料，排煙風管一般采用不燃的鋁箔玻璃棉板。這兩種材料使用比較普遍，保溫性能比較好。
