（1）應設置在該排煙系統高排煙口的上部，并應設在用耐火極限不小于2.5h的隔墻隔開的機房內，機房的門應采用耐火極限不低于0.6h的防火門。

（3）排煙風機與排煙道的連接方式應合理。實踐證明，因為排煙風機與排煙風道連接方式不正確，常常會引起風機的性能顯著下降。
(3) The connection between exhaust fan and exhaust flue should be reasonable. It has been proved that the performance of the fan is often decreased because of the incorrect connection between the exhaust fan and the exhaust duct.
（4）排煙風機與排煙口應設有連鎖裝置。當任何一個排煙口開啟時，排煙風機即能自動啟動。即一經報警，確認發牛火災時，由手動或由消防控制室遙控開啟排煙口，則排煙風機立即投入運行，同時立即關閉著火區的通風空調系統。
(4) The smoke exhaust fan and smoke outlet shall be equipped with interlock device. When any smoke outlet is opened, the smoke exhaust fan can start automatically. That is to say, once the fire alarm is given and the smoke exhaust outlet is opened manually or remotely by the fire control room, the smoke exhaust fan will be put into operation immediately and the ventilation and air conditioning system in the fire area will be shut down immediately.
（5）排煙風機應設在混凝土或鋼架基礎上，但可不設置減振裝置。風機吸人口管道上不應設有調節裝置。
(5) The smoke exhaust fan shall be set on the concrete or steel frame foundation, but vibration damping device may not be set. There should be no regulating device on the suction pipe of the fan.
