實驗結果表明，導致屋頂風機緊固件失效的原因主要有以下幾點：1、運轉時，承受過大載荷量。就以軸流風機為例。由于它的運作時葉輪的輸出轉速快，因而，所要承受的載荷也就較大。一旦它的載荷超出的載荷范圍，其內部個零件也需將承擔一些載荷量，這就會造成零件緊固件失效。2、驟時開啟反轉。如果在風機還未完全停止時，突然開啟反轉，就會使風機的各個部件在受慣性的作用下，分別向不同的方向運行，使其個部件的運行不同步，從而導致風機出現問題。
